Taking off tomorrow to do a trip to Illini State Park with my wife. Going to have a picnic, do some hiking, and hopefully get lots of pictures of the trees turning colors. Friday I`ll be heat treating 7 blades.
 
I love this time of the year. The State Fair, perfect weather and every day the sunset is beautiful.

That's it! I'm calling in tomorrow ... I hope my boss isn't a lurker :D
 
You have been grinding a lot lately, and showing off some new stuff.

Go have fun, enjoy the day off, and keep the creativity up.
 
Hope you and the Boss have a great time! Should be some nice weather. How about some JK with a JK in use pics or are you still not allowed around the sharp stuff?

Ever since Connie caught me running with scissors, she has to supervise me with sharp objects!
 
Our day out did not turn out exactly as planned, but we still enjoyed our time outdoors. We got to Illini State Park, and could not find any trails to hike on, everyone we saw were just walking on the road!

We decided to leave and go back to Morris, and visit Gebhard Woods Park. This park was originally a sportsmans club in the 1930`s.

This abandoned building can just be seen above the trees in Morris. It was the Gebhard Brewery in the early 1900`s. I`d love to explore inside of it!

A beautiful day out with your best friend is as good as it gets! Nice photos too. It would be nice to see that old brewery building re-purposed.
