I was the very fortunate recipient of these two knives while at Blade 2011 and have been using and carrying off and on for the last 3 weeks or so now. I am still blown away by the generosity of the folks that hang out here in this forum.

The first of the two is a peanut gifted to me by Gus. A little George Wolstenholm IXL. Cool little knife, blades marked stainless, no half stops.

The second is a little Winchester easy opening jack 3 3/8 inch with absolute wonderful fit. The walk and talk on this little knife rivals many handmade customs! This knife was gifted by Jason(bakerg2g).

Thanks guys! These two little knives will hold a special place in my heart and mind.

Great pair of knives from a great pair of guys! Enjoy 'em in good health, Ken!!!

Agreed, some great knives there and more proof of the great people that frequent the Traditional forum.

Hard to beat a really nice old traditional that has been gifted. I have a couple and they are highly prized both for the generosity for what they are.
Awesome knives from a couple of really fine fellows.

Treasures for sure! From treasured people!
A wonderful way to gaze upon the old ways that inspire your work, Ken!

Ken...those knives are real neat...I like gus's IXL, and Jasons EO Winchester is a beaut for sure...and you are right about those two guys....I personally think they are extremely nice guys.

Nothing better than getting a knife for a gift, except for getting two knives. Great knives. Good for you.
