Hi all,

I don't want to be pushy, but I've never participated in one of these first come, first serve "contests" before.

Does Jerry send out emails both to people who "made it" and to those that didn't?

Also, if you did manage to get a knife, how do you go about making payment?

Notifications for the last couple of announcements like this took 4 or 5 days to go out as I recall. I don't know if those who didn't make it got a message (because I made it....heh heh).

If Busse doesn't already have your info you'll get a message from the delightful folks at Busse Sales asking to arrange payment. At least I did.
 
These contests are nerve racking but I learned last time that the easiest way to find out if you got it was, to check your charge card via the phone or internet. My billing information is on file and I always include in the E-mail to charge that account. It works! The people in the office get so swamped with calls that it makes it almost impossible to check each inquiry. If your information isn't on file I am pretty sure that you will get contacted to verify billing info, shipping address. But don't start sweating yet, No one will probably hear anything for a few days while Jerry sorts the E-mails and does a final count.

When all that is done, the charges will be put through and about 2-3 days after the charge goes in you will be able to see it on your online statement or hear it on the phone. If not call the Wonderful Women of Busse and find out for yourself.:D
 
If it's anything like preioir contests, I didn't win anything, but I made the cut this time!:D
 
It seems to me, the simplest way to know, or at least a close guess if you made the cut. Look at Jerrys post "SOLD OUT", it was posted at 7:49 p.m. If your email request was made after that time, you know you are just S.O.L.
 
I've got an idea. Anyone who posted, emailed or though about posting or emailing should immediately send me their money plus a fifty dollar per order escrow fee which I will maintain until such time as appropriate for disposition.:rolleyes:

Yes!!! I just got the call from sweet Kassi...I'm gettin' a TW and a cap :D :D. Good times...
 
I just finished talking with Kassi at Busse and got good news :) and bad news :mad:. The good news was that I was the last one to make the cut for the TW Spec-Ops knife :D :D :D. The bad news was that I had ordered two and there was only one left :(. That means that the 68 knives sold out in 13 minutes :eek: 'cause my e-mail posted at 8:43. Yeh, I know it took a couple seconds to get there but WOW! So much for havin' a "user" and a "keeper". I'm really glad I got in under the wire so I went ahead and got the hat. :cool:
 
Good news, bad news. . .. Everybody who made the "Tali-Whacker" cut has been notified. . . those who didn't make the cut did not get a message. . .
