Taliwhacker Patina

My Taliwhacker was too shiny so I thought it time to put a patina on it.

Let's give good old mustard a go...

Hmmmm. Not bad. But I don't think it really, wait for it.... cut the mustard.

Let's give some balsamic vinegar a crack at it...

NOW WE'RE TALKIN'!!! The paper towel left an awesome pattern!!! Love it!

I don't get it! Whenever I try to force a patina with vinegar or mustard I get an ugly yellow hue. That looks great!
