I do not believe they are created in sequential order, but in the order in which they are requested as they are scored. May be wrong. However I do find it unlikely that #1 is the first blank cut, shaped, finished, sharpened and shipped as they are likely to sit unnumbered in a small batches at some point in the process and the likellyhood that the first blank cut from raw steel is the #1 out the door...is slim.

Well that was only a matter of time. Mine is a keeper. Now I need to sharpen it to make it officially mine!

Aint a darn thing wrong with being a purist, the Swamp is where my heart is in spite of the hogs hogging a bunch of the other Swamp threads. They are just jealous. :)
 
I love the look of these knives... Being that I'm a knife noob... What role does this knife fill as far as utility? Aside from looking insanely awesome... I can't find a review on it anywhere!
