When I see a knife I really like, I usually resist the urge to immediately buy it. I'll usually wait a week or two at least, to make sure its really something I want. I've even waited months or more than a year before finally pulling the trigger. I guess I'm kind conservative in this way. But sometimes, admittedly, this has backfired when the knife became sold out or obsolete.

Those Lanny's are nice (I have a plain blade version), but not quite worth their asking price IMHO. I'd go with a custom.

My advice; only buy it if you're gonna use it like your favorite edc. And FishVolt is right, sleep on it for a few. As I age, I'm learning to wait out whims as well.
