I have to admit I dont think I would have given Spyderco a chance until I read so much about the Native. For me the fit is perfect. This is a very solid knife.I think a three inch or so blade is the way to go.Not to small and not to big for pocket or clip carry. Also being a south paw the reversable clip is great.Iam a tip up guy in case you were wondering. By the way I got the plain edge with CPMS30V. Thanks guys.

I use S30V Native for couple years I should say that it is very good knife and not expensive, but I believe that Spyderco make few knives much better, which are also tip up with reversible clip and 3" blade. Just try Caly3 next. I carry both of them.

okay now that you've got the native you're probably going to need and endura and then you'll probably want a delica and then..... spydercos are addictive.

The S30V Native is probably the best bang for the buck out there.

I have a older native in 440v that has seen more than its share of abuse and is still as strong as the day i got it. did you get the native with the new handle design?

I'm guessing no, because the Native3 has VG-10 steel and he mentioned his was S30V.

I have used it for about a week now and like it even more. Thanks again
