a little bit ago and Carmine said they are shooting for tomorrow to have the first of the Umnumzaans out. Said heather was working on the boxes as we spoke. If not tomorrow then Tuesday would be the day. Here's hoping the phone rings tomorrow and it's a call from CRK!! So excited I said , "give me Saturday shipping!!":thumbup::D:D
 
They called me last week, and they have my CC info. so they can send me my Umnumzaan!!
 
I can't wait for pics, dying to see what (if any) changes have been made from the proto. :D
 
You guys please post your thoughts when you get your Umnums. I have to wait until end of year to get one:grumpy:. The left hand ones won't be until later.:cool: It will give me more time to save for one. At least I should get my 2008 LE before that.;):thumbup::)
 
I just spoke with Heather and got my Umnum paid for and ready to ship.

Now to see how quickly UPS can get it from ID to MN over the Labor Day holiday. The 4 day estimate puts it in my hands next Thurs. At least I don't have a wait as long as Scott Dog. ;) :p

I was wondering if I was getting one of the first. Hope it will be here Tuesday. Very excited to see the production version. What do you all think about the price?
 
Heather csalled me today to tell me that my Umnumzaan was shipping today!
 
Got a call myself and Heather said I would have it in my grubby little hands by tomorrow, since I opted for saturday delivery. Cant do pics but I will do a write up sometime tomorrow afternoon!
 
You will love the knife! I have used my proto for a while now and it feels like it is the only knife you need. First when I saw it on pictures I thought WOOW. When I got it I was a little bit disappointed. But after a while I did find out that it is one of the best designed knives ever. And I guess that the production model will be even better.
 
Just got it!! I have not had time to do much more than play with it a bit. Only having seen pics of the proto's I am not sure what changes to look for. It has the zig zag grooves on the handle, still has the "fantasy" blade back, but I can not really tell about the ceramics and pivot until I get a takedown tool. I can tell you it has the fit and finish that CRK is famous for, and it feels like a well crafted tool in hand. I will post back after some play time and give some more thoughts on it, though my initial thought is that this is one fine knife that a lot of people will like!

Come on cutter. If you have a camera phone, you can send em to yourself and then photoshop em. GET EM UP!!! We're waiting!!!!

Ok folks, you are dealing with a person who does not have the skills to post pics. I do have a camera phone, in fact it also has internet access, and it is what I am using, at present, to post this message. Have a cousin I visit almost daily and it is his computer I post from most of the time. He keeps prosmising me that he will set up a photo account and show me how to do pictures, but as yet, it has not been done. I will see what can be done to make this a reality, as I would love to post some pics of my Umnumzaan wirh the Fallkniven PXL that also came yesterday. I am going to post a more thourough review when I get on a regular sized keyboard this afternoon, and who knows, maybe some pics!
