Datu Worden has some really neat ideas for some videos, he was discussing them and I asked him if he would mind me bouncing them off of you folks. He gave the O.K., here goes...

"Dogchain" This may not be the title that actually comes out, but yeah, you guessed it! Flexible Weapons. I love flexible weapons, and I am sure that KW will come up with some kickass twist on this age-old weapon category. I am sure you will get some FMA theory behind it, as well as just plain old, in the street effectiveness...

Short Knife. About says it all, huh? We all carry them, and not all the longer blade stuff boils down to shorties.

Double Knife and Long and Short Knife. I don't think a lot of these titles need much explanation, they are serious subjects for serious folks. And even if you do not intend on carrying 2 knives, if you disarm someone, you may end up with their's and in a multiple attacker scenario, this is a no-brainer.

I might add that (this is my input/idea) that if there was a crossover in "Dogchain" that "linked" (pardon the pun, it was intended) the knife used on conjuntion with it, that would be very cool. AND, ASP and Knife, these are my ideas and maybe KW has thought of them himself, I forgot to ask because I was enjoying the conversation so much.

Don't be scared to post, the Man is talented, and he is listening to you, tell him what you want!

And wish him well, he is casted and healing from surgery.
 
There are no good videos that I know of on double knife and long and short knife work. I would dearly love to see what Datu has to show us on these topics.

Don, what was the surgery about?

Short knife would interesting as well as double, long and short I'd pass. I'd like to see more blade and grappling tapes mainly what the knife person can use.

KW had a car accident some time ago and I think, I think it was a corrective measure, orthopedic, but don't hold me to that.

The long and short is possibly an Espada y Daga concept(I am guilty, I did not push further), unless he has something even scarier lined up for us.

I am excited at the prospect of anything he puts out. The Man knows his stuff.
 
I am with JRF on this. Love to see something on tactical folders. KW can show what he wants with his new Crawford colloration. the Wortac. I'd be interested.

First of all I would like to say a Big hello to Datu Worden, I am glad to hear you lurk here!

I think all of those ideas sound good, I like the flexible weapon stuff and the double knife, knife, ASP baton, it all sounds great.

I would like to see added a small section on using common items as weapons. The kind of stuff you would use if for any reason you didn't have a knife on you.
