Talon Hole Ideas?

While I like the look of the front talon hole on my ADs and GWs, I find myself wondering what functional or even non-functional uses (other than a Busse trademark and D-guard/spear anchor point) it could otherwise serve:

- Set it with a magnifying lens
- Set it with a micro-compass
- Set it with your lady's birthstone, then tell her it's for HER and THAT'S why you need more INFI...
- Set it with your service/school/favorite team emblem
- Attach a temporary 1/2 inch handguard that makes your AD blade a legal 3" (where applicable)

Other ideas or actual applications out there? I'd like to hear 'em!

I contemplated filling them with epoyx and having something in the holes. But not sure what. I have also thought about grinding them into bottle openers(on the gw's).
 
Hanging points, they could be earrings or a necklace, maybe a bracelet.





Wouldn't a couple FBM's make a cool set of earrings ?
 
They make a good pressure point for keeping the knife in a sheath.

Allows the blade to breath a little more freely.

In a pinch, you could mount your GW across the top of the barrel of your .50 cal. machine gun and use the talon hole as a peep sight.

(Make sure to mount it edge up or you'll cut your nose off!)
 
The traditional object like that on a knife was called a "stanhope". Picture Jerry on one side and Garth on the other. Or Skunk and the Mrs?

Probably not the best idea. Unless you wanted to stagger around like a drunk with out really being intoxicated. Not sure how much fun that would be now that I think about it. :D

If you can see the hole pin when held 1 inch in front of eye you don't need to go for the green, just lay up.
