Nah, just getting my first eyeball floater.
So this it what it's like to get old!
:D
(had to related to Busses somehow)

I'm in my 20's and have been able to see squigglies and bits of crap in my eyes my whole life. Having better than 20/20 vision might have something to do with it.
Anyway, there's this one dot that I can move around by looking quickly from one direction to another.
When I'm bored it can be fun lining it up on things.
(or maybe I'm just crazy)

You can actually map out your "floaters" and use this to your advantage. If there is a marked change in the number or location of floaters, you could be on the way to a detached retina. So, know your floaters!

Man, that sounds disgusting...

Thats some of the weirdest shit I've ever heard of. Have you seen a doctor about that? I've got better than 20/20 also, and don't have anything of the sort going on.

I've had those things floating around in my eyes since I was young. I don't pay them any attention, but I can always see them if I want. And it is hard to line them up on something, and especially to try and look straight at one for any length of time.

Why am I talking about this?

Weird.
I dont have any problems with floaters in my eyes
but I have a problem with the voices in my head.
and that one talks with an accent!

The EXACT same thing happens to me. Would you like to exchange drawings of what our floaters look like? LOL JK.

I've got 'em. You get used to it, and they pretty much disappear. Unless someone starts a thread on the subject and reminds me about them.

they are cuase by small wrinkles in the membrane corvering your eye.....
i know that makes me sound smart but i have to admit i just googled it

a kitten scratched me once many years ago, had a floater-squiggly thing ever since.

I haven't thought about it in a few years at least, until this thread.

Mine looks like a small blurry bubble. (ie a talon hole) it's too far from the center of my eye for me to target anything.
I haven't figure out which eye it's in either.

Mine come and go. I don't remember remember if I had them prior to my LASIK surgery, but sometimes there seem to be more than normal. It's actually fairly irritating sometimes.

I get the same thing with the squiggly deals and spots, but for me they aren't permanent. 20/15 vision here (great for cop detection when speeding).

Asked a doc about it years ago and he said it was dust particles on the eye that were too small or non-abrasive to feel. They do flush out for me, so I took him at his word.

Same here, they are annoying at time. The brighter the place you are in the more floaters you see. Sunglasses help. Doctor says drinking alot of water could help too.
