Talon vs Quest

I wanted to buy a Talon from BlueRidge Knives but they said that they do no have such a model so I ordered the Talonite Quest which they had in stock.
1. They are a Camillus dealer.
2. Why do they not carry the Talon
3. Is the Quest going to be as good as the Talon since they both have a 3.5" blade?
4. I have not yet seen any comments on the Quest. Can you point me in the right direction or tell me a little something about them. I have it coming and its a little pricy so would like some info on them from Camillus if possible.

I believe that the Quest and the Talon are one in the same. If I am not mistaken, the Talon was originally called the Quest but the name was changed before production began.

Joe is right, when the name Quest was picked it was found to be in use by another company. So Talon was chosen after talking with the great folks at Kershaw, (Doug Flagg to be exact) Only like 3 knives were marked with the Quest logo, I would be willing to bet yours will be marked Talon.

And if it isn't marked Talon (in other words, IS marked QUEST), I might be able to convince myself to take it off your hands for the price you paid for it.

if it is marked Quest its going right next to my sterile MPK which Mission says is worth around $2000.00 since it is indeed a collectable. You want to make an offer for that one too?
