I purchased a Chimera from a fellow forumite and thought I would give
my impressions. First off, it's a beautiful knife. Blue/Black G10, with approx. 31/2" Talonite blade. The knife is very slim and extremely light. The balance and smoothness of operation are excellent. My only complaint(if you would call it that) is the thumb hole. I've never owned a knife without a thumb stud and now I know why. Maybe it's habit or maybe it's small hands but either way I cannot smoothly open the blade. However,,for those that prefer a thumb hole to a thumb stud it is without a doubt a work of art.

I found mine a bit hard to open when I first got it too - wait till it wears in a bit, and if you want losen the pivot slightly. I still wish it was smoother (like my Jeff Hall) - The knife did NOT like White Lightning - I'm using regular oil

Strange.... I found mine too easy to open - had to take the knife apart and fix the problem (it was impossible to tighten the pivot pin since you cannot hold it on the other side)... But otherwise the knife is very well made and I like it.
