Ahead of schedule, we started shipping TALONITE EDC's yesterday from the factory @ CAMILLUS. The internet dealers listed on our website were some of the first people shipped, so if you wnat one, get intouch with our authorized dealers listed on our links page!

....$220, same as the MINI TALON. Hope this helps Mo,...I would suggest checking a few internet sites for 'net pricing. Thanks for the interest!

Cool, my local shop carrys the mini talon for 150$. So I should get the folder for the same.:cool:

I just ordered one of these baby's from Fred. I completed the trilogy:
EDC CPM154
EDC Anniversary
EDC Talonite---Did you know talonite is French for no rust......hahahah ;)

My first pay cheque will get me an Aniversery EDC as well as a Talonite model:D . I hope I can find a plain edge model!:eek:

I assumed all the talonite EDC's are plain edge. Do you guys make a combo edge for this knife? I never even considered a combo edge option.
Will?

....We do make the regualr EDC in partially serrated format, and we made about half of the 500 pieces of 154cm bladed EDC's. We have NO plans to make any TALONITE EDC's with partiallys errated blades.

TALONITE is difficult enough to grind as it is, much less a recurved blade, and if I ask the grinding dept. to add serrations, they may lynch me :rolleyes:

Thanks for the interest!

Will, how do you think the handles of the talonite EDC would respond to a hotblue?? It just looks like it would make an already nice knife better! Mine is due to arrive tomorrow!!

Jason,
I don't believe you will be able to "hot blue" the 420 stainless that the frames of the EDC are out of. I believe that you would need a lower chromium content steel for the blueing solution to work. But I could be wrong.....lemme know if you find out otherwise.

Will,
I thought about that after I posted . . . duh!
I am going to swing by a local gunsmith and ask about it tomorrow.

Jason;
You can have stainless "black chromed" like on some stainless rifle barrels...hmmm would make a nice contrast, the talonite against black chrome.:D

Jason;

Aw, come on man, you have to give us a little more then just awsome. How is the action and the lock up? How sharp was in when you got it?
Come on, come on, come on :rolleyes: :eek: :cool: :D

I should be getting one of mine sometime next week and the anticipation is killing me.

Sorry about that!! should have mentioned that I posted the "beginnings" of a review in the Knife Reviews and Testing forum!

I have only chopped up a box and done some light whittling . . . so far, the edge has not degraded any. I will post a better review once I have had a chance to give it a workout!
