Talonite on balisongs

I've seen the pic of the Rob Simonich balisong with the talonite blade on Chuck's site, and I couldn't help but wonder how well that would hold up under manipulation. Talonite is supposed to be pretty soft, so would the blade get warped under manipulations?

I have some Boye dendritic cobalt that eventually I'll make a bali blade out of, so eventually I'll let you know. Why don't you go over to the shop forum, and see if you can get Rob Simonich to answer you on this one. Or, you could contact David Boye or Rob Simonich directly. I don't think the blade would warp, but I might have some concerns about the pivot holes wearing, which could possibly be solved (if it happens at all) with a press fitted stainless bushing.
