I recently saw a Camillus "Talonit" knife for the first time and I am intruiged by what little I have read. My specific question is how flexible or brittle is Talonite? As compared to a none-stainless carbon steel for instance. Thank you.

John,
Talonite is not like ceramic, being brittle is not a concern. For example, a CUDA TALON, with Talonite blade will typically bend approx 20 degrees without taking a "set". It will go to about 25 degrees before breaking. We don't see edge chipping with Talonite generally, but in high impact instances, you may get the edge to blunt or roll where in very hard steel, you might have a chip develope in the edge.

I hope this helps.....if youhave anymore specific questions I can answer, please let me know. Thanks for the interest!
