Almost all tan canvas photos i see seem to be different to one another. Some look beautiful and others not to much. I am having a hard time deciding to go with tan or black canvas based off this.

Does any have some photos they'd like to share?

New/unused tan canvas on my NMSFNO before the CS gave it hand-shaped black canvas and solid bolts, next to a correctly-handled AMS. If it's any help, it looked much less pink and much more tan after I sanded the machine-textured scales down smooth and used it.

See, to me that looks so nice!
Then other photos i see a dull, light, almost peachy colour. I much prefer that ^

The Rodent Solution in this pic is old tan micarta. The JMD and Rodent 6 are both within the last couple of months and seem to be the current trend, even though they are significantly different from each other. It's a little bit of a lottery.

Here are a few pics of mine that I already had uploaded, both the RMD and HR were recently made, but the color is different. Apart from the variation in batches over time, they look different based on the lighting and how dry the micarta is. I generally apply a very small amount of mineral oil to bring out the color. The RMD scales came bone dry, so the first two pics show the difference a little oil can make pretty well.

I like both of them a lot, but even after taking a bunch of pics, I still feel like none of them capture how they look in person really well.
