I hope I don't get blasted for this not being on the scrapyard forum but I wanted some opinions on my trash1 with the tan res-c.

I recently bought a battleguard and have always wanted one since seeing it, I never really liked the tan res-c. Well I switched it and now it's a total keeper.

I switched the trash1 and battleguard handles and love both now more than ever.

I just thought I would share.

Oh you should be safe.... Bravado hasn't been around lately. ;)

Handle switch looks great. I like the black myself... good idea.

blade looks awesome.guessing just drill out the tube and slip it off not?

You drill the tube out of the end of the handle and then pull and pull and pull, then after that pull some more. Eventually it will slide off. I didn't add any lubrication as I didn't want it to always slide off easy.

The only trick is that both knives must be the same thickness. Since receiving my trash1 I have been looking for its mate, thickness wise. Both of these knives are . 25", since holding the trash1 and seeing that the logo seems more tan than any other sykco i own, I've wanted tan res-c for it.

The battleguard is my newest blade in to never leave, so freaking comfy. It makes me wish Jerry has a battle pappy coming down the pipe. Oh please oh please Jerry.

Did anyone ever make a kydex for the battleguard? With it's guard is slightly different than most Busse knives.

I like it, good job. I actually am very surprised Busse does not offer any red-c color we want, as I can't believe that it would be hard to do.

Yep, the only reason I sold my BG was because I wished it had a blk res-c handle. It looks better than I imagined!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Looks awesome. Now, you've got quite the rare Trash1. I like all the handle mods you have done.

Thought this was a cool pic, might end up stripping the TG though.
