Tang on Fallkniven A-1

In preperation for a rehandle job.............

Ok Fallkniven fans. Who out there has a picture of the tang on an A-1. I have an older A-1 with the solid VG-10 blade and a rubber handle. What does the tang under the rubber look like? Is it the same as the A-1 blade blanks?

Here is the flouro-scan of the handle on my older Fallkniven A-1 with solid VG-10 blade.

As you can see it is a good bit narrower than the original grip, without a finger guard. I guess a re-handle job will require a mortised tang handle.
