tang transition radius in Gen 1 C.S. Recon Scout

Hello,
For a gen 1 Cold Steel Recon Scout, carbon steel. It is one of the type, similar to the original Trail masters, that has the little nub or bump in the ricasso area between the lower guard and the edge. My question is, did these first one have the square transition in the tang under the guard, or was it radiused?
