Hi all. Finished this custom piece up for a regular customer of mine. Hope you like it. We will be adding this to the web site soon.

Steel: 1095 Heat Treated Spring Steel

Tanith Falcata

Measurements:
Total Length = 21 ½ ”
Blade Length = 16 “
Blade Width = 3” widest
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 5 ½ ”
Handle Width = 1 ½ “
Handle: Walnut & Brass.
Weight = 3 lbs 2 oz
Carthaginian / Tanith symbols etched on the blade

It's a kukri with a falcata handle, IMHO. But aside from nitpicking, you are sure making some excellent big blades. This one must be a heck'ofa chopper!

Thanks guys for your comments. Thought I would throw this picture in to show that falcatas come in many different blade styles. Although this one does resemble the kukri, it is a falcata. :D

The customer that designed this one, is a professor in Germany, who teaches ancient warfare.

Thanks again. It is a pretty good chopper. Very front heavy.
