Just got a SYD scrapper 5 from New Zealand. And what a sweet knife!
If someone can add the weight stats of each one( I dont have a scale), that would be great.
Here is a pic choil to choil. TB has much more blade and handle.
This is handle end to handle end
Ive decided on my closer hikes/camping trips I will bring a large chopper (Either NMFBM or KZ), my scrapper 5 and I have a small (3in)Mission Ti-mpu for "wet" type activities. It only weighs 2oz!
For longer hikes, I am going to take only my TB. It cuts real well with the serration. With the long handle type and the rounded butt I can choke back on the handle and get more chopping leverage. It has enough weight to be a good chopper. I can't wait to try it out. I will prob take the Ti-MPU too since its only 2oz!
