Well I got my TankBuster on Thursday, a couple hours before leaving for my camping trip with my daughter. I originally planned on abusing it while up there however ended up beating the living crap out of my NMSFNO instead. I did use it to do some chopping but refrained from batonning it as I wanted to keep the coating in tack at least for a little while :D. BTW does anyone know who strips and satin finishes blades for a cost? I know Ban does/did it but not sure if he still does, anyway looking to send my NMSFNO in for a makeover . Anyway on to the pics

Very nice.

Ban has done a couple of knives I owned, and they were top-notch.

Usually I just strip 'em and convex 'em.

Cool pics! I have not had the you know whats to use mine yet. Busse shop will fix you up I would think. My first choice would be Ban if he is still doing it:thumbup:

If Ban does'nt do it...the difficulty for most of the rest of the people I know of is that they don't remove the grips so there is often some marks near the ricasso or on the pommel...it is sorting out the grips that makes the difference...but Horndog did a great job on his NMSFNO that I saw and I know he does do some sharpening work.

Beautiful pic's by the way:thumbup: You must have had a great time!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing them!
Looks like You had real fun!
Very nice color combo on both knives

Nice pics, what part of Norcal? Check with Tom Krein for getting your knife worked on.

thanks guys, it was a great trip. Went last year with my daughter who wanted to go wilderness camping with me. We had a great trip then and it is now a regular thing. I live in the bay area, the camp site is in the Sierras, about 10 miles outside of Yosemite so we can shoot all we want :D.

You just helped me make up my mind for the second order of a Tank Buster. Love the Sage w/Tan and Black G10.

Cool pics. Where you at in Norcal?
I live in Livermore, as much as I hate the laws here in this state the countryside is beautiful and as long as I can continue to play in the forrest all is good :D Thanks again guys, the TankBuster is a great blade and I am looking forward to testing it some more

I'm in my classroom on lunch wishing I were setting up camp beside that lake.. nice shots.
