Tanto Blade and Sharpmaker

Can I sharp a Tanto style blade on a Spyderco Sharpmaker ?

If its not chisel ground. What knife in particular? Just becareful not to round the the junction point and treat every edge seperately

You can sahrpen the main edge and tip separately for great results. sharpen the main edge in the sharpmaker, using the corners AND the flats of the stones. Be sure to GO SLOW, stopping where the point's edge and the main edge intersect (AKA the triangle of death.) Then sharpen the main tip. To do that, I recommend turning the sharpmaker into a normal flat hone, lockign your lebows into your sides good and tight, and strokign the tip at the right angle. That should geep the triangle of death crisp and sharpen everything up nice.
