I wonder if CRK will ever make the tanto blade available on the Inkosi's.
 
I guess the popularity is growing! IMO I don't see a tanto Mnandi though because that would go against the idea of a "gentleman knife". I think we will see the Inkosi soon if the others sell well:)

I love my Tantos... I'd love more, no matter who sells them to me. However i've always had a pleasant experience shopping at True North Knives. Wonder what made them give up the rights...

Edit: PLEASE SOMEONE COMMISSION A TANTO DAMASCUS KNIFE!!!

I beg Chris and Anne, and even Tim every show I see them at for the Damascus Tanto Seb. Never sounds promising. They say something about the edge grind not looking right with the Damascus pattern. That means it has been attempted and there is one or two out there. My other wish is a 3.6" bladed micarta inlayed Mnandi!!
 
Does anyone know if I can order just the tanto blade for my umnumzaan straight from CRK or do I have to send it in to be "fitted"? I have a Wilson Combat Umnum user that I would LOVE to have a tanto blade on for EDC tasks!

Has to be fitted.

I asked about this recently as well.....

"However at this time we are only offering the tanto blade on new knives, we are not offering it as a replacement option unless the original blade was also a tanto."

So no luck at this time for current startacs.

I owned a Grimsmo Norseman in Damasteel with a tanto style blade and it looked great. I don't know why there would be an issue.
