Should Jerry come out with tanto knives or tanto knives with teeth? What about cord wrap and/or other choices of handles?

There are those who appreciate the style of such things and then those of us who prefer the traditionally functional Busse styles.

I was just ondering what everyone else thought.

I am not a big fan of tanto knives, but I would like to see them in any infi lineup.A while back I had a tanto busse but traded it much to my dismay.I would like to see however more knives added to Mr.Busse's lineup of blades.I feel he needs more knives to offer to a greater audience of knife users, plus it would give me something else to buy.The most important blade Busse needs is absent currently, and that is something like a mean streets or other small 4-5 inch blade.I currently carry my SJ on my pistol shoulder rig and although it works I would much rather have a MS or other more compact piece for EDC.The BM SH and NO are all like knives with diff blade lengths each complementing one another. If there were a 7 inch straight handle,a SJ and a mean streets or the like they would all complement each other as well.I also would like to add that Busse is the only folks I know that offer a one piece hatchet that is compact and very reasonable in price compared to other customs I have seen out there.I tell you something else I would like to see that is a little on the fringe side of knives but I would like to see a small survival spear head made of infi.Something that could be attached to a shaft with two or three barbed hooks and that could be stored in the pocket of a SH sheath.Definately I would like to see a small infi piece though that I feel is paramount.

Yes I would love a tanto, my first "serious" folder was a Benchmade 975SBT, and it started my love for the blade design. I'd definately be in for one if it were to happen from Busse.

Wow...nice tanto. Is that a variant, a custom, or what? Do you have any for sale? ;)

Count me in for a Busse tanto. I think I'll check out the Striders until Jerry comes out with one.

Great pic Andre:eek:

Now that's a tanto design I could live with!
I remember when Jerry did some of those tanto variants a couple years ago for Blade and of course I held off grabbing one until it was too late:o

Maybe it's time for some more variants uncle Jerry:D

:D Chip,
No camo handle
Strab,
Yes made a couple of years age I picked it up in Wauseon Oh.

Thanks Andre, I thought I remember a Tanto with camo handles
on it. Mind is going!!;)

Here are five pics I have of tanto Busses (they don't look like generic americanized tantos, and some could be argued that they aren't tantos (the BM variant obviously isn't), but hey, I think they're cool :D ):

Mmmmm....camo

WOW that first one with the camo micarta is VERY cool. Double blade catch!!

I can't tell the size of that  is that SJ, SH or BM sized??

Also, in the last picture, the one on top with the black blade, is that a Mojo Variant or a BM variant? I don't see tha trade mark Mojo blade catch, but the blade shape looks like the Mojo. If that blade is 9.5" with that swwet blade shape and the double edge, now that would be a sweet fighter

Hunter, I can't exactly remember. It was a 8.5 or 9.5 inch
blade. Maybe somebody else can remember.

Chip,
Thanks. that's cool! That's what I'd want 9.5" or 10.5" on a piece like that. Any idea if the top edge was sharpened?
