Dang, that's a fine looking blade. I wish I could pick an individual part of the knife that I liked specifically, but I really like every part of it.

As for the rust question, I polish it starting with 320 grit, on up (600, 800, 1000, 1500) depending on the finish I want. I found if I want a satin finish to polish it up to at least 600 and then use my scotch bright belt to give it the look I want and it doesn’t rust easily. I always suggest keeping some oil on the blade if it’s not mirror polished. I use several of my knives every day and haven’t had any issues.
