tanto sharpening

I have a tanto,but dont know how to sharpen it.Does anyone have a quick way of sharpening one or could someone talk me through it?

I have one that I worked down to kind of a drop point. It works much better for me. It's just a cheap Myraco knife so it was easy to do.

The best way to sharpen a tanto is to sharpen each part of the edge

seperately.I had a cqc 7 Emerson Kreined into a spearpoint (much better

stlyle edge). Sharpening as 2 seperate edges worked great for me.I have

a Sog tanto that i sharpen the same way....I get both edges very sharp

using this method.....i hope this helps.
