I found a tanto style Umnumzaan exclusive to TNK. I'm wondering if these blades are reprofiled by TNK, or if CRK makes a special edition specifically for this dealer.

They are a special edition specifically for this dealer and will be offered by TNK on a regular basis.

I dont have a Umnumzaan Tanto so I cannot speak on its specs, but the tanto on my NICA Sebenza has a nice thick point that is much easier to sharpen than a strider tanto.

That is what I am hoping for. My NICA tanto has a nice fat tip and that is what I want. The regular blade doesn't appeal much to me, but the tanto....that is a must have!

And on the regular blade....are there 2 styles?

The Tanto Umnumzaan looks to me to have an excellent point. Here are some pics I have to get a better look........What I like best about the CRK tanto is that it has a little belly to it, where as my strider tanto I had was opposite and if you put it on something flat, you could see a gap in the middle of the blade, I did not like that......As soon as I recover $$$ from the One-Piece I just got today, I have to get a umnumzaan.

Sharpest knife I own, bar none. It is a PERFECT grind. The pics above show it well. I was never a huge Tanto fan, but this one does it right!

I notice a difference between the two styles. The NICA Sebenza tanto tip curves up to the back of the blade. The Umnumzaan tanto tip is cut straight up. I like the looks of both, but I've only got the Sebenza -- for now. :)

The Umnumzaan I have curves up, more like the old Spyderco Lum Fixed Blade appleseed tip.

I envy those who have the Sebenza NICA tanto as I can't find them anywhere. I might have to settle for the Umnumzaan tanto.
