I really like the steel of the blade, but I do prefer a more traditional style. However, the lines are quite clean and the piece looks well made.
By the way, the habaki (metal collar)...how was that made and fitted? It is hard to see clearly but the edge of the habaki looks like it sticks out a little further than the blade edge. It might just be the picture, but I am a little curious.

I have simply used a method similar to the trdizionale. I have gained a detention step on the blade, I have sagomato to hammer blows copper on the blade therefore I have joined for welding. I have polished all and as a habaki true it can be paraded after to have removed the handle and the Tsuba.
