looks good man. but i think you need to do something about those ears of yours. :D HEHEHEHEHE!!! im thinking red for the color.

thank you!
i put alot of work into them.. still more is going to go into them... gonna make the traditional sheathes for them

I really like that big one. I think you may have stumbled into a career there me bucko! Arrghhh. Keep up the good work Chris.

Those are great. What table at blade???

I can remember just a short time ago you posted when just starting out. Looks like you come a long ways in a short period of time. I would venture to say there are many buyers for those knives in BF land.

What are the pricing for each one of those, plz?

thanks for the psoitive feedback!
i am gonna try the wrap on the big knife and see how ot looks. we shall see.
i try and improve with each knife, but all the positive feedback is awesome
well.... i dont have a table at Blade. i am flying down for the show... but do you have to have a table to take knives?
as for price i am thinking $250+ at least for the small one. and at least 300 for the big one. do yall think that is too much?

thanks again
~Chris

You did a fine job on those. Glad the wood worked out.
I'd wrap the buckeye in tan or brown and the one with rayskin in red or black. Don't sell them too cheap. take them to the pit in Atlanta and price them at $30 and $400. That way you will have room to dicker, and you may be surprised that they get snapped up fast. One of the fellow forumites might let you put them on his table for 10% of the sale price. Carry them with you when you go in the show.
Good luck,
Stacy

wow!
sounds like some good advice! i was actually planning on using a light tan and then red or green on the little one. sweet! i will post pictures when i am done.
btw what is "the pit"?
sounds like alot of fun!
thanks
~Chris

looks nice...but i'd like to see the hamon line. the hamon on the bigger one seems too close to the edge. then again i can barely see it. looks great, though. keep it up. :)

The pictures wernt trying to reveal the hamons but you can see them clearly when you hold the knife
the hamon line on the bigger knife looks like this:

this is the... 5th hamon i have ever done. i didnt get the blade as hot as i would like, as i dont have a pyrometer i have to go off color, but i plan on improving with the next one.
thanks!
