Tapatalk API Expiration?

What is this API expiration on the tapatalk app whenever I click on this forum? I noticed it on my ios and android phone.
 
This issue is weird. I spoke with a guy at work about this, he browses a lot car forums and such, he told me that he was having the same issues on is Droid Razr. I asked him if he found a fix, and he said he hadn't found anything aside from upgrading.

From reading that thread from Tapatalk Support, it seems that upgrading the user client to a newer version will cause the notice to appear only at initial login.

However, Spark still needs to upgrade the server-end plug-in to allow end users to make use of new updated features.
 
Well the original version of tapatalk got an update for ios and that seems to have gotten rid of the error message. Whether or not its fixed, i dont know. This version is now free apparently
 
The tapatalk api has been updated. All the problems should be solved now.
