Having issues lately with my tapatalk app, can't use it anymore, is this gonna be permanent?
Seems is not compatible with bladeforums at all...
 
Spark mentioned before the transition that he was on the fence in regards to supporting it. He mentioned he likely wouldn't due to the new format already being mobile friendly.
 
I have been unable to use Tapatalk since the transition also. This is a huge letdown if it remains unsupported. It is much easier on ones phone to use the app than it is to log into a website, even if it is mobile friendly.
 
There's a thread in Tech Support currently where more information is being shared about Tapatalk and potential for making the site compatible, considering THIS POST BY SPARK I doubt it'll happen.
 
Yikes! Had no idea Tapatalk operated like that, I think Spark has a right to be pissed... I never used Tapatalk, tried twice and got annoyed with it in short order. It would be cool if somewhere down the road, a dedicated BladeForums app can get built, integrated, and released.
 
What's so hard about logging in?
I always have one or two pages open anyway but you can stay logged in

Yeah, I tried tapatalk and completely hated it. Taking 15 seconds to log in whenever I come back on is fine with me.
 
There is also that little box that you can check that allows you to stay logged in on whatever browser you are using. I very rarely need to re-log.
 
How come I'm suppose to post my Beckers knives pictures, without the folks help??? Tapatalk was the only way I was used to, all this is about KNIVES....

Continuing to post here is only going to cause unnecessary friction with moderators.
If you need help with posting pictures on the new platform, that discussion can/should take place in tech support, but I'd be willing to bet that umpteen people would help with photo questions in this subforum if you asked in the Snark thread, which is here for off-topic (off-Becker) discussion.

Edit regarding pictures:

Okay, it's actually simpler on the new platform. Click Upload a File in your post/reply.
Once the picture image uploads, simply choose if you want a thumbnail or the full image to show.

That simple. Hope that helps. This thread has been locked and should die now.
