My friend called and said he bought a knife . He had been to a small gun/knife show and wandering around saw a Tapio Wirkkala knife For those who don't know they were made about 40 years ago in Finland and won design awards .They are in demand by collectors now with good prices.
Both he and I have had them all those years and used them and know the value. The price listed was $ 35 !! and the knife was in VERY good condition ! Obviously the seller had no idea of it's value .My friend asked 'would you take $ 25 ? OK ! '
What a steal ! LOL It's a knife that I used as my prime hunting knife for a few years ,really fine.
As I remember Cold Steel made a copy of it a few years ago.
