I had a few ways I could have went with this knife for handle material. I decided on the giraffe bone, and used a bronze pin in front, and a 3/8" Damascus pin in back.

Dave, It looks like a well made knife to me. Your pin is the first one I have seen in damascus. What are you calling this damascus? I really like the pattern.

Great damascus as usual, nice touch with the damascus pin.
All in All, an outstanding hunter.

I like natural finish giraffe bone, don't understand why there's such a campaign going on against it.

Thanks Kevin. And I will keep on using it, in spite of the campaign against it.

because you will never sell a knife with g-bone! or something like that.

I got to check this piece out at Josh's this past weekend. It is a great knife. Dave's Damascus and knife making skills have really taken off to a new level!!!

I prefer never to say never as I sold the Jerry Lairson Bowie below after owning it about three years and made a handsome profit on it.

Only Giraffe bone handle I ever owned, however if another presented itself within my normal collection parameters I would have no problem buying it. Like the Sfreedo Giraffe bone fighter below.
