Hi. If any one has any experience with this knife would you please share it. I can't find any reviews on the net. I read some reviews of the other knives in this series but not the first responder. I would love it if some one with a lot of knife knowledge would give their opinion on it's construction etc..

Don't tell me I'M going to have to buy one to find out about it and review it on here. I can always come here to find out about something and ya'all dropped the ball on this one!:)

I took the leap too. I got mine today. Here is a short review I posted on another forum:

Wow! I ordered this from knifeworks late Tuesday and the it was on my door step today (Friday).

My first impressions: Beautiful, very well made, excellent ergonomics, and very well thought out design.

Things I like: Many belt clip mounting options -- will accommodate lefties. The large, grippy G10 handle. Tough S30V steel. SOLID liner lock that engages positively and doesn't allow for blade wiggle at all.

I'm not a knife expert but I've fondled quite a few high-end knives and, IMHO, the first responder gives a similar impression of quality that you get from knives over three times the price.

It isn't an assisted opener like my kershaw knives (leek and whirlwind) so I'm still getting used to opening it. It is also a little larger than I'm used to carrying.

This is a beautiful knife and for about $110 (that is with shipping) and a three day turn around, this I one of the better deals I've gotten in a long time. I'm very happy with the knife and knifeworks.

I pulled an all nighter last night so pics and more details tomorrow.

I think it is a great buy -- maybe one of the best. I look forward to hearing your opinion.
