Once again I've got a wave of these high quality Karambits coming to me for the Wave hook. Seems to come like this everytime. Just did one the other day. Forgot to scan and document it but mailed it off. Now I got this one and apparently two more coming behind it sometime all from different people. Always kind of strange the way these things seem to just come and go in a small line in a sequential way like that.

Anyway, this ones on the way back to Arizona all done and works great. I know I've said it before but these are really some high quality products I see from that 5.11 company. Each time I get one of these in I'm reminded of my own Investigator model and have to pull that out for the day just to play with it for a bit after I play with the one mailed to me first. If you haven't checked them out they are not a bad choice for an economy beater upper that can take it I must say.

STR,

How much $$ for the wave hook?? Also, smoothing the action??

That would complete my Tarani Journeyman.

I will get it out to you as soon as you let me know.

All my Wave mods are $30 plus shipping and I would need my work order form filled out and printed. Find that in a sticky top the page here on page one in my forum. The one titled, Low Rider Clips, or Read This If You Need To Mail Me Work both have it. Fill that out and mail with the folder. I'll do the rest. All you need to know to get it to me is there. $4.80 is shipping add 4% to cover the pay pal fee if you use that at the email address listed on the form. Thats my pay pal addy also.

Thanks

30$ plus 4.80$ s&h. for wave hook. How much $$ to smooth the action and mount a standard clip on the left side on my Tarani Karambit?

After I hear from you I will finish filling out the form and mail it to you.

Not sure on the action. It depends on what it needs. Sometimes its just a matter of a missing washer from the factory or a lost one from disassembly so if its something like that its nil but if not it could be a few $ more.

The clip is $30 though and that is all in my low rider clip and mail instruction thread.

Thanks again

I'll give it a once over and see what I can do. Hopefully I can figure out why its that way and knock out whatever is causing it. I'll know more when I see it on the bench. Thanks again.

I'm trying to determine how much to make the M.O. for. I know 30$ for the wave hook & 4.80$ s&h.

Polish action and standard clip? Any suggestions?

Clips are $30 and the action just don't worry about. I'll just fix it if I can and if I can't I can't. N/C on that my treat to look it over some and see if I can't figure that part out.

Thanks

I received your folder earlier. Took it to the shop and disassembled it. Turns out one of your washers was folded over on itself and pretty bad causing a thick spot that I'm guessing put an unusual bind on the pivot barrel. Its hard to say. What I did do was clean it all up and put it back together properly so the washer is not folded over on itself. Its much different now and certainly lots better than it was and your pivot screw is down all the way now as opposed to being up visibly like it was when it arrived here. The bump and run thing you are experiencing when you open the blade is the blade actually for just a fraction of a second bumping the clip side scale as you lift up the blade. There is little to do to correct that but its not as bad as it was either.

Now I just have to get to the rest of your order requests and it will be ready to ship out. Hopefully I can get this in the mail tomorrow morning to you and on the way back home. Just FYI

are you still doing the wave mods? I actually have the new 5.11 C.U.B karambit and was looking to add a wave to it. I zip tied it but it's not that effective.

thanks!

Yep sure am. I don't do many but I will still do it if asked and its possible on the model I'm asked about.

Find the Read this if you need to mail me work thread top the page and fill out and print my work order form and mail at your convenience. All Wave mods are $30 plus shipping home. Thanks for asking
