Tariff-related price increases

Been hearing rumblings about tariff-related price increases from a couple of different manufacturers--and it will be sooner rather than later.

Might it be time to go Christmas shopping in August?

No politics, please.
 
Probably a good idea. If the knifemaker is using imported steel or aluminum, they ARE experiencing price increases. I have a lot of customers who do metal fabrication and every one is paying more for their steel and aluminum. By the way, nearly all companies in the US get their steel from overseas.
