Tarp / Basha Shelter

Any guys use a tarp / basha as a shelter? I wanted one with a loop in the centre to hold it up when used in the British Army style, between four trees.

I just ordered a Hilleberg Tarp 10

I went for the tougher, but heavier XP which is made of silicone coated polyester.

This was cheaper than the Sil-Nylon. Do you have any experience of these materials?

Your help would be appreciated.

It looks rather nice for a gentle breeze car camping rig but, blowing wind, hard driving rain, and other similar weather condtions look like they would make this a poor choice for shelter (assuming you had some other choices).

I would be interested in a review after you receive yours and get a chance to use it some.
