Here is a picture of the White Tarp Teepee that I built. It's 15 feet wide and high. It will be heated with a hot tent wood stove that I'm currently building and testing. There is a lot more pictures on my personal website, but here is one for you.

I'm currently building a second floor in it for storage or beds. Since it's like 14 feet high inside, someone could almost stand up on the second story floor.

Let me know what you think.

What kind of "Tarp" is it? The second floor , IMO, should be used to store gear and keep heat down by occupants. What's you method of going through to exhaust smoke?

It's a regular 20x30 White poly tarp. You are right with the second floor. Though, I've already began to build it and it's strong enough to hold my weight. I'm 160 pounds. For the wood stove, i'm building it out of scrap in the spirit of à hot tent wood stove. I'll figure out a way to install the chimney through the tarp.

It'll be fine. Is the stove baffled; If not, it will perform better with one.

Yes, it's baffles. You can see more detailed pics on my web site. I don't know if I can post the link here...!?

Huge undertakings, both the teepee structure and woodburner, not to mention the shelter of saplings and evergreen boughs

For use over winter, when snow packs in the base and the access flap is secured for warmth, I have seen in similar design (natural material) tent structures ... an allowance for fresh air to be brought in from outside along the ground to the base of the stove (and for general controlled air flow) via a 'pipe', some made of birch bark.

It looks like you are having a great time out there.

Kyle, are you living in this teepee in the winter? Or do you intend to erect it in various locations for camping? Can you double the fabric to create an airspace for insulation?

taldesta, OMG yeah, I'm having a wonderful time when I go there!

lawp, No, I'm not living in the teepee... I'm building it on a piece of land I own so I can have a warm place this winter when I'll get there. I don't really do it to live or sleep there, it's just for fun. And no, I'm not going to move this around. Yeah, I guess I could double the fabric by installing a tarp inside... but it's not on my plans for now! :)

Here's a picture with the coroplast door:
