Tarwar questions

Anyone have an overall length and a rough weight on the HI tarwar? What do they cost?

I think that the Tarwar is a bargain at twice the price

The one that I have gets pulled out and fondeled every time I go into the computer room

It is my opinion that someone could not ask for anymore in a short sword.

An extremely solid sword with alot of power behind it, yet manages good handling and maneuvarable weight. A really, really good short sword that would make a fine multi-role/self-defense weapon, as it is long enough for reach yet short enough for use indoors.

Thanks! That is almost perfect to match a paired set of swords one of my training partners has. As a future purchase (probably should wait until I go back to work, even though I seem to have more money available now than when I was working), would it be possible to get a reasonably matched pair (don't have to exact, but the weight should be close) in scabbards like the "mid grade" from the katana? Kind of a bit of sword one- upmanship. His are from a Mantis instructor, but the steel is really poor. I think I would like a set that is both more functional, AND better looking!

Matt,
I also have a TARWAR, by Durba! Showed it to a M/A instructor friend! His first comment was!"I like it"! Next was!"How much"?
then,"I want this one"!

Hold the tarwar in your dominant hand and the katana in your other. They make a wicked combination!

:
I think the tarwar may be a pretty good replacement for a stout machete and I may have to have one for that one of these days.

Don't know about a katana but I am still dreaming about getting one and especially now that I've seen one.
Maybe Terry will get a tarwar in for some work one of these days and I will feel the same about it as well.
There is nothing coming from BirGhorka that I truly dislike, just some I prefer more than others.
