[/IMG] I received my Tarwar Sword today from HI. The one thing that I was surprised about is how heavy and thick they are. It is tough for me to swing with one hand. Does anyone know who made this sword by looking at the marks? I looked on the HI website and didnt see the markings anywhere.

Ah ok thanks. I see U. B. and the other marks I have no idea what pictures they are of. So Tirtha likes beer alot?

The UB is there in memory of Uncle Bill Martino, the face and guiding hand of HI's "storefront" here stateside.
Tirtha's mark...well I have no idea what it REALLY is. But it sure looks like a beer mug to me:D

btw, Tirtha makes an AWESOME blade..oh, and welcome to our club:)

Yep, that heaviness is what has kept me from buying one so far. 42 oz or so is a LOT of weight for a short sword. Can we get some full pics and maybe a pic of something getting demolished by Tarwar? Congrats on your purchase!

Tirtha's mark is a drum with a strap on the side (up is toward the tip of the blade) and he makes an AWESOME blade

get that sword outside and take some pictures of it in the light for us to see!!!

Well, I still think it looks like a beer mug...but maybe i'm more partial to brew than to drums;)\
But yes, he makes a fantastic blade.

Ok I will try and get outside and get some pics and video of me destroying things. I am surprised at how heavy and thick this sword is. I am 5 ft 8 200lbs muscular build and I have trouble swinging with one hand. I choke up on the handle if I use with one hand. What do you guys use your Tarwars for? Mine looks very well built and durable. I could imagine chopping branches, trees, zombie heads off.
