Anyone else in on this knife? I usually find his designs a little too "futuristic" for me but something about the Prism seems a little more utilitarian and functional. Anyway, I jumped on board for one.

I don't own any pictures, so I can't post one. And they're not for sale yet on supporting members sites. Basically, it's a scaled down version of his custom Church. Here's a picture of the Church...

The asymetry annoys me (weird handle holes and odd blade hole shape). Looks like a nice functional design though. o_O

Looks like a bunch of random shapes cut into the handle for no rhyme or reason.

It’s unimpressive on a number of levels. Even if we assume immaculate build quality, I don’t find the price, design, or materials particularly impressive. That said, I do like the blade shape, especially how the blade edge is lower than the handle - but that’s not enough to sell me on this, especially with the geometric handle cutouts that don’t really add to the appeal of the otherwise plain Ti handle.

The general form of this knife is similar to what I would like the non-existant Cold Steel Tuff Lite XL to be, but at a prohibitive price point. I’ll probably just get a CRKT Pilar for $25, which is roughly 1/10 the price... and I don’t have to wait until July for it to ship.

I would probably consider it, however, if it was a flipper with a flipper tab that was 100% flush with the handle when opened (like the Ischam designs often have). Even then, though, it’d just be in direct competition with the Kizer Megatherium, which has a much more interesting handle that (in my opinion) puts it a bit in the lead.

I think if it had just a simple half circle cutout in the blade and the slots in the handle arranged symmetrical it'd be a very nice design and practical knife.

I'd be more interested if they said who's manufacturing it - I didn't see it in the listing.

The first comment from Jonas explained the reason for not identifying the manufacturer. I'm 90% sure who's making them but if they don't want to reveal it's not my place to,

Reate was my first thought as well. WE and Kizer have no qualms about going lower end and the $200 mark is quite a bit lower than what Reate usually aims for.

it is reate. so the quality will be there for sure. blade stock is too thick though, the taper helps though. I think some folks are not going to realize that its finger flick open only until they get it.

they didn't want to say reate because it should be a 350$ knife. but the price is way lower.
