I got this ne today... another awesome design from one of mt very favorite manufacturers. This claw cuts like crazy! And ot's H1, which means no rust... fresh water, sea water, blood... you just cut whatever you need to

I have a Black PE Tasman Salt and I love it!! Great knife for fishing out in the gulf. Comes in real handy! and no blade rust I love it.

Thanks! Indeed, I forgot to mention -> I bead-blasted the clip-screw and refinished the clip (bead-blasting & than 800 grit satin)

Those satin clips really set the knife off.

The Tasman SAlt either PE or SE is a superb beginner's hawkbill as well as a great EDC Hawkbill for everyday use for the veteran user.

If any of you are eyeballing the new H-1 Spyderhawk I highly encourage you to get a Tasman first to learn about a Hawkbill and it's uses before you get a Spyderhawk.

The Tasman Salt is so versatile with the H-1 blade steel; I truly think it's a stalwart EDC knife in the same vein as the Endura and Caly Jr.
