I have a TAT Custom knife that was given to me recently... I know it is a very nice knife and i am very happy to own it.. While trying to research the type of steel/knife maker/and just overall history of TAT knives i came across a few questions..

Were they made by Terry A. Teutral or Doug Brack????? I have found on this forum where people say both?!!?!?!?!

My knife says PO Box 187 Hamilton Montana on the blade, but Doug Brack was in California or Arizona??

Its a super nice knife and gets VERY sharp.. Just was curious on its history...

Thanks, Richard

T.A.T. Knives were made by actually my uncle---Terry A. Treutel. He lived in Hamilton and Missoula Montana. He was a vereran of the Vietnam war where he was in pararescue. I believe that he currently resides in Idaho.
