Hope you like it.

That's a very stout knife with a very ergonomically pleasing design.
Good looking too, even though I'm probably the only collector in the world who doesn't get all charged-up about Koa.

This was an order with Koa. I have the same as you have with Desert Ironwood. I have some great blocks but I pick something else everytime.
Thanks for your compliment!

Wood popularity is somewhat cyclical. Back in the mid to late nineties, it seemed that every forged blade came with a curly maple handle. Ironwood then gained ascendancy and became so popular for so long that I now almost actively avoid it on custom orders. Koa's popularity is more recent (personally, I blame BillF) but like every other wood there are some who don't care for it. Variety is good. Choice is good. This knife is real good - looks damn near indestructible.

I'd like to see one of these Taurus's with a guard with only the guard in the front. Not the double that runs front to back. That flow you have from spine to handle is perfect and the double guard kind of interrupts it to my eye.

That is a NICE stout knife with a good looking profile. I too would like it with a single guard and traction grooves on the top of the blade just in front of the guard.
