Do you know what the Cuda maxx stiletto 5.5, Benchmade 941 December 2000 KOTM, Benchmade model 31 Balisong, and the Spyderco 204 sharpmaker have in common? They are on the way to me as I write! Woohoo. So what are you getting with your refund?

Part of my refund is going to John Fitch and the rest to Steve Filicietti for a couple of nice custom urban bowies.

refund? you're getting a refund?

after I file, I'm gonna be paying. wasn't enough that the 3K I made last summer wasn't taxed enough(only 5% instead of 10), I spent 1K of it in the USA(through knife purchases from Texas) that I have to pay the taxes on. I'll be giving up at least a knife.

might be able to bend my way around and break even, just depends if I want to talk with my accountant neighbour.

Its not really a refund since it was your money in the first place, they are overcharging you without interest...........:(

Yup. Adjust your withholding so you owe a minimal amount. Otherwise, you're just helping reduce the deficit by giving Uncle Sugar an interest free loan.

Thanks for doing your part though.
:D

It may not be a refund, but I like getting a big check even if it is mine. I am not likely to save enough to get $400 or so worth of knives at once otherwise.
BTW, this is last years refund I just got. They gave me $30 in interest for letting them keep it all year. I will be filing the 2002 soon, and then I will get another non refund. I think I will buy a motorcycle. I can't help but not mind, even if it's wrong.
