Well, who's already done? What are you buying? I remember that Heber was planning on buying more guns; what about the rest of you? ;)

I'll be lucky after I pay what I owe if I have enough for sandpaper...

I voted last night but was too tired to post but ours generally goes for pleasure seeing as how it's money we saved, and poorly at that, anyway.
I'm waiting on that new steel furniture Chitlangi Bowie with the 9" blade!!!!  :D

Hmmm... I haven't filled mine out yet. I'm still waiting on a W2 from the scum sucking parasite that hired me down in Florida. But if it doesn't arrive by Saturday, then I'm filing a "missing W2" form and let the IRS deal with him.

The only problem with that is I will probably still owe the IRS... and the whole missing W2 will mess up my return. Who knows, I might get lucky and get a refund, but I doubt it.

My last employer routinely sent incorrect W-2's - counting a check MAILED on the last day of the year as income in that year -- even though I never received it until the following year. That was 1/12 of the total pay for the year. I finally went to direct deposit.

Then I "retired," worked as a "contract employee," and routinely got inaccurate 1095's.

Did I mention that they lost all the payroll records from before 1986 so they coundn't calculate pensions or 401K's What did they do? Why they just guessed.

Fortunately, I kept all the pay stubs. I trust me to keep accurate records and nobody else.

Novadak, you are correct. I got my Beretta .22 Pistol and put my Blackhawk on lay away with my return. Going to get my Blackhawk off Lay away Saturday after work. :D

About 60 knives worth of income was stolen from me in this lump sum, in additon to the smaller monthly thefts... :grumpy: I am grateful my wife and I are prosperous now, but just a little less when writing this check...

a gun or knife, definitely! A winchester model twelve or BHP would be nice.

ps crew picked up my first khuk last night, 16.5 wwii. sorry if that was cantina-unfriendly

I guess it all depends on whether my check arrives on a day when we are supposed to feed the kids.

Got my Ruger Blackhawk yesterday afternoon, 100 rds 9mm, 50 rds .38 Spl, and 50 rds .357 Magnum. Shot a few rounds of .357 Magnum and .38 special threw the gun and really like it. My friend Josh shot it too and wants one now. Hopefully he will be by in a few minutes so we can go up the canyon to test out his new Black powder pistol and my Blackhawk.

My Tax return got one and a half guns and camping equipment. Half of this paycheck went to a gun. Guess you could say it went to guns!

Climbing gear and a Koster Karda, well those and eating, april is a lean month for university students. Its been 8 months since I could make real money. I had to harrass my boss to get me my T-4 (canadian equivilant of a W-2 I guess) but she got it to me eventualy.

Well, I overpaid the Man by waaaaay too much this year, so I picked up a new laptop and will be ordering a BHP (right after I edit my W-4, that is). :)

Well Novadak I'll congratulate you on the new laptop and BHP but especially for having to edit your W-4 form!!!!  :D
We did good this year, got enough to pay for having the taxes done with enough left over for a couple of really nice Buffalo Steaks and a couple of huge baking potatoes to fix at home.
Our, or I should say, Barbie's Kitchen has the best food in our tri-county area!!!!  :D

I borrowed $4500 for a year from the gubmint at a cost of $138.

Gotta pay it all back at once of course...but *I* had the use of that money instead of them.

Which way is better again?

I got a Kelly Kettle and box hatchet from Garret Wade; from Amazon I bought a Wendy Carlos CD set and an external A drive for my laptop. Still have a hundred or so left, haven't decided whether/how to blow it.

BAE, have you gotten your tax return back yet? If so which gun did you get? I grew up with a Winchester Model 12 so when ever I hear them mentioned it brings back fond memories. :) Going to get it from my mom soon so I can put it back in to service. Would love to desimate some clay pigions this summer. :D

I still haven't gotten them done. I tried on Sunday night with TurboTax, but things just didn't look right to me so I didn't file them. I got into a CPA here locally who sent off an extension for me before the deadline, but I'll be paying penalties .

Seems that my one part-time employer considered me contract labor and I'll have to pay self-employment tax :mad:. It almost isn't worth it...

I don't know the numbers yet, but unless the CPA can pull some numbers out of his hat (or I TOTALLY screwed up in TurboTax), I'll be owing for the first time in my life. Oddly enough, I was unemployed for a third of the year too...
