I picked this knife up some years ago when it was just a one-off dealer sample; likely made in Taiwan. They are now being produced and bearing the S&W logo; likely made in China.
Just under a quarter inch at the spine and ground to a very thin edge - it came reasonably sharp.
I presented it to my boy this afternoon who just turned eleven. Then I told him to go outside and chop something up - didn't take much encouragement.
A simple task but the knife didn't fall apart, it still looks new and it looks to have retained its edge.
420 works and I'm not the only one that thinks so.
