What do you all think of Taylor Cutlery Knives, just a general question, I have a old one I bought about 15 years ago when I was still in High School, it has been a good knife, matter of fact I think it was the 1st knife I ever bought for myself. So anyway just wanting some opinions and stories about them.

I got a Taylor-Seto imitation Cold Steel Tanto in 1985. It held up well but it was not the quality of the Cold Steel though it was about 1/4 the price. It was pretty good for a 13 year old. I used it for years as my primary fixed blade until replacing it with a Cold Steel Recon Tanto in 1997. I also have a belt buckle knife that I got around the same time that I sometimes wore as my EDC before I got into tactical folders. Another company makes a copy of this but it is not as good. I'd say they made good knives for the money in the 1980s but now there are many companies making higher quality knives for low prices.

The collab. knives they are doing with Darrel Ralph are top shelf users. I have four now and am really pleased with all of them, especially that new FL-2 Frame Lock folder.
